Position Description

The People and Program Integrator will coordinate various programs and initiatives to enhance employee and volunteer engagement, development, and overall organizational effectiveness. This role involves integrating the Organization’s strategic plans into programs and initiatives, creating a funnel of people resources to ministries, supporting people resources functions and ensuring seamless communication between team leaders to fulfill the organization’s mission and long-term objectives.

Over-Arching Expectations:

People

  • Liaise with the HR team to streamline the recruitment process for volunteers and employees, including postings, gifting assessments, resume screening, and scheduling interviews.
  • Create and execute a pathway for onboarding volunteers and new employees and ensuring proper orientation specific to position profiles.
  • Work with Directors and Leaders to assess and address people resource requirements and training needs.
  • Liaise with the HR team to assist in planning, implementing, and evaluating volunteer and employee engagement, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.
  • Coordinate and execute volunteer events, workshops, and team-building activities.
  • Serve as a point of contact for Directors, Leaders, Volunteers and staff, regarding program details, policies, and procedures.
  • Oversee the Plan to Protect program, police checks and vulnerable sector screenings, safeguarding personal data and ensuring compliance. (As part of the onboarding process).
  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve volunteer and program effectiveness.
  • Track program participation and outcomes; prepare reports for management.
  • Help maintain volunteer and employee records, and HR databases.

Programs

  • Facilitate communication to leadership to ensure strategic plans align with programming and initiatives.
  • Monitor strategic planning initiatives are implemented in ministry programs.
  • Assist in developing metrics to assess success in strategic integration in programs and people engagement levels.
  • Oversee strategic alignment of program schedules, budgets, and resources.

Other

  • Support special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, or a related field. 
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative or coordinator role; experience in project management or event planning is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in a nonprofit setting, particularly in volunteer management.
  • High emotional quotient and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with project management tools.
  • Proficiency in Planning Center preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Reporting Relationships:

The People and Program Integrator reports to the Lead Pastors.
