"Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. - 2 Corinthians 9:6-7 NIV
Generous people in our culture today are no different from the generous people mentioned in the Bible. Generosity becomes part of a person’s DNA; it permeates every area of their lives. Generosity is not something that comes later after you accumulate wealth. It’s something you live out wherever you are in life today. It’s not something that “shows up” — it’s a lifestyle you cultivate.
God isn't looking at the size of our gift, rather He looks at our heart's posture when we give and the size of our faith. Each of us has something to give. Some have wealth, some have talents, some have time. Whatever gifts we have been given; large or small, we should share generously.
Our giving is a direct correlation of the transformational growth in our heart. Generosity breeds generosity. God is calling us to be a generous people! Your personal impact can be enormous, and your personal journey can be beautifully enriched for the experience!
