A miracle is a divine operation that transcends what is normally perceived as natural law; it cannot be explained upon any natural basis... My friends, we are in a season of Miracles!
What greater time to celebrate one of the greatest miracles of all; the resurrection of our Saviour! Christ has demonstrated His divine power over death. 1 Corinthians 15:55 says "O Death, where is your sting? O grace, where is your victory?" This is the miracle of our Saviour! He defied the odds. The grave could not contain Him and His Resurrection transcended natural law; because Christ is alive, we are alive! A dead person does not know they're dead, but because Christ is alive, we have been given new life in Him. He is a Saviour who resurrects. The amazing thing is we were by nature deserving of wrath, but God is His infinite power and love raised us up with Christ and made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in our transgressions (Ephesians 2:5-6). God is not just our moral coach, but He takes what is dead and makes it alive. God has taken what is in our core and changes us.
He is also a Saviour who adopts. Only through Christ we can become children of God. We are a recipient of grace and not a participant. "For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith-and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-not by works, so that no one can boast." (Ephesians 2:8-9).
There have been many miracles recorded throughout the bible, but none compare to the miracle of the cross. Think about it, His life saved your life. Through Him we too have the power to overcome. I know we often think of miracles as big signs and wonders, but miracles are happening all around us every single day. Take a moment and think about the miracle of the cross and how it saved you, and the everyday miracles you see because of the grace of God on your life.
